your a moron for not listening to the masses of people that simply wanted a click to interact put in and for you to make it user friendly/non alien.  You do realize no one uses the buttons you assigned for this game?  That just shows you are bad at this (and obviously not self aware) and imo should re-roll your career choice or hobby.....whatever this bad idea of a game is in your simple life. 

I bought this game and for the price I paid something is very wrong.  The E to interact does not work.  I cant enter the house or that building where you spawn.  I cant do much of anything.  I really dont want to give you a hard time but as a fellow developer I dont think charging people what I paid...and having so many bugs is right.  Can you please communicate with me and let me know when your updates are coming.

 Why is there no meta progress or upgrade system either to raise the HP and skills.  Ranged attacks or skills like magic or ranged weapons would be nice since the sword swing is so slow and you have to stop before using it.   The help button on the main page is broken as is most other things.  Also I just watched your short video and the only E to interact I see is for the animal that drops wool and who does nothing else. The E doesnt work at all anywhere else. Oh and if you drop something on accident there is no way to get it back because the E button doesnt work?  Come on man.

 This is just a mess...every single time I go to play something new comes up.  I am a patient woman...but I need to hear back asap because I really want to play this game and help your progress on it. I just realized that when you go to craft something everything overlaps.  The words and pictures are all spaced wrong.  The bed when used, locks you in place and you cant get up no matter what you do.  It just goes on forever in the sleep mode. I need to hear back from you asap.  i feel at this time..that no developer would sell a game like this and not expect a paying player to think it was a scam. It is not playable and I think Itch needs to know that there is something shady going on here if nothing is heard back from you or fixed quickly.  I dont want to have to file a fraud report and refund, or leave negative reviews. So i will wait a few days in hopes you contact me with plans to fix these things.  Its been almost a month since your last update.

 An issue that can be looked at after the game is playable is concerning the tools and sword. Every time you use a tool or sword you have to stop for a period of time to hit something or attack. There is no fluid swift movement at all.  I would like to be able to hold the left button down to attack without pressing over and over and move around while attacking.  Dodging is all good...but having to be forced to stop during battle and repeatedly hit the mouse button is a pain. It is so slow because of all this that I get hit far too much.  Also gamepad support would be nice, key rebinding and menu options that work.

you know also...i saw the support button and almost went to click it to send you a hefty donation since it looks amazing.  But opted out to do so because I cant see the screen, and there is no tutorial.  Put in the things I requested and I will donate.  

a bit frustrated atm.  what is the point of having this game on here if no one can play it.  You give no instructions of what to do.  All I can do is move around.  Your video tells nothing. It needs a full tutorial and the ability to scroll in.  You can see a thing on the screen.  Why would you put this game up, and not make it playable?  It looks like so much fun yet I cant play it.  Please let us know the proper keys to use to move around and how to use each of the things in the menu on the right.  You need to also make the actions apparent by having a hover over description.  Not just the tile name on the bottom left.  How do I get resources.  How do i stay alive.  How do i do anything.   Also..please fix any of the translation issues.  Some things are not in English.

im so confused i either need a hug or need an explanation lol.  Poppants, did Dawnfolk steal your art style and game code etc. The game is identical to yours...well it was..till DF added so much new content it overwhelmed the game.  So was thinking they need their knee caps busted for this.  And also I saw on your Steam page this game but its now in 3d? So there are 2 versions now of your game right?  This original finished minimalistic and then the new version coming?  Ok well lemme know if you want me to take care of the guys over at Dawnfolk.  I GOT YOU BRO

was wondering if the dev can respond here? I bought this game a year ago and havent gotten any updates or anything.  I was wondering if it has gamepad support now and other things fixed that were kind of wonky before.

Edit 20 minutes later: I just saw that it says game updated Sept. 2024 under the more information drop down menu above.  But when I go to download the game again under my purchased games, it says I can only download the old 2023 version that has no updates or fixes.I mean if people are buying a game...at least a few updates or bug fixes should happen.I know you are a good dev though so I hope I dont have to worry about the game being abandoned after purchases were made.  

Another edit, 1 hour from the last edit: So I figured Id wait to hear back from you and just play the old version anyway.  So I tried to redownload the game and for some reason it says blocked in the URL bar when the new page opens to download the game. I have tried everything. I was so wanting to download it...that I turned off all protection on my pc lol and and on chrome.  Basically I made my pc open to the world for a minute to get this to download. But it appears i dont have power over my own pc haha.  Because that blocked insecure content is still there in the URL box.  ugh

Terrible.  Im sorry but you arent good at developing.  You need to make the game fully functional like minecraft or necesse.  Nothing works.  No windows open even for anything.  No M for map.   No I for inventory.  E for craft and an empty status screen?  Man the crafting doesnt even work.  Stop selling the game ok.  Its a scam. 

game is unplayable.  Nothing but one button to use and thats E to open a barely useable craft screen.  A white permanent block is in front of the character.  Everything you click has no action to show.  The game is terrible and you scammed us with this.  I have filed a chargeback for the game.  its a fraud.  If you want to prove its a real game.  You need to make it a BASIC  version of minecraft etc.  You should be able to just click on separate windows and use familiar button to this genre.  Such as: I for inventory.  C for character and stats or for crafting.  All recipes should be shown and what you need to build.  There should be a full tutorial.  You ever seen or played Necesse?  You can make it like that with just the bare bones of it.   The UI I mean.    Click on things and have separate windows for everything.  You need to make it easy for players to understand.  But its a mess and even walking doesnt work right.  You get stopped  for no reason sometimes.  I dont think any other people should buy this till you take a look at other games out there in this genre and make it easy like those games.  What you are asking for this game as far as price...is ridiculous for a game that is so bad.

Its an always lose game.....there is no way to repair the town hall.  Pls add repair hut or mechanics house. Its not about the mobs inability to attack the other buildings.  They do too much damage as is.  The issue is the fact you can never win because the town hall can never be repaired.

hi you ruined the game man.  The old way was better and since I paid for this game on Steam and you changed it there...I lost all my progress and things are a mess...not happy at all.  Just glad my bank allows me to file chargebacks up to 2 years after a purchase.  Will be leaving feedback on Steam also about what happened with the game after your long time away with no update.   Just to come back and ruin everything and wipe my progress.  Unacceptable.  

please make this game downloadable and update it.  I have no idea how to collect resources.

Nothing more frustrating than a developer who has a game that looks amazing up on Itch that doesnt work or do a single thing.  There is no download button here so you cant even try to play it another way.  The game in the browser starts up and tells you to press buttons on a gamepad. But it doesnt work.  Every other game I play here works with my  gamepad when a dev says to use a gamepad and knows what they are doing.  I think you did something wrong when making this mechanic.  Mouse or keyboard should be a default option if gamepad support doesnt work.  But for some reason you have left this out and that makes no sense. Why not add it in and make the game downloadable so we can use the gamepad maybe? Its just so ridiculous that it feels like you are trolling the players or this is some sort of joke. Please fix this asap. 

you explain how to play yet I see no download or way to play..  Not cool.....nor is this a good way to get people interested in your development progress. Edit..reported to Itch.io team as their policy states leading players to play a game via links or blogs and then game isnt available is reason to lose account.  

hi i thought this game was abandoned because I saw that it said 2018 release on steam and no progress here.  BUT I see that a trailer was put here seven days as far as Itch goes.  It could be wrong because itch says things are new but arent sometimes lol.  I am totally excited about this game and cant wait for it to be released in any way, like EA.  Do you have a target date for this.  

just saw your reply now.  I have bought all your games btw that you have had up for sale or had a hand in before lol.  I really like your style and skils.  You are so talented and I do not think you could scare people away.  Absolutely brilliant at what you do man!  How is the development going now 3 months later lol.  Sorry again I just saw this reply.  I am so excited to see even a bit of what you have created.  I  play the brothers game all the time.  The Brother brother game I mean.  The brothers apart game I used to play alot.  But for some reason,  it is hard for me  to get a handle on the gameplay mechanics.   I always die no matter what lol, I think I need a complete walkthrouh and some sort of hand to hold through it.  Its a tough one...but a really good game.  Even though I set Brothers Apart down for  a bit, I ended up playing all your other games now.

Ok so i see that you explained above about alpha 1, 2 and 3 and their differences.  With alpha 3 being the most recent.  But when I go to download the game, via the link for those who purchased it..it says updated 9 days ago and says Alpha 1.  Did you decide to call all the updates Alpha 1, but insert new version numbers when you posted them to itch?  Lol I was looking around for Alpha 3 and got confused.

yea we saw that right away lol...the archers die too fast still.  At one point we had archers and walls boxing in the king.  It went to hell real fast even with that set up lol. 

dude did you play this game?  please fix it you cant get past 1 second.  Its bugged.  First hit kills you.  Also you dont explain what full health and more points means.  Also..only a few of the items to buy show a price when you hover over.  I know this is a prototype but even so...it has to be playable. Despite having a new gaming pc also....when there are more than 15 mobs on the screen...it lags to hell.  So its unplayable as is.  Good idea..would be fun if I could actually level up.  The prices I did see though are like 10k points etc for anything slightly good.  Thats insane considering even if you didnt die in one hit.....the game lags after a minute or so. Can you fix the game please please.

Hey there, any idea when another update will be coming to download.  I love this game.

OK SO i just tried the browser version and its no longer doing the screen freeze thing.  But now...I am at level 7 blood orb vampire ball...and am supposed to have 4 balls around me.  I still have one only.  AND...its not giving me any health back at all now even in the slightest.  Im going to go download the newest offline version and see if that is better.  

Thank you I see! It says here update 11 days ago but the download page still says the same file uploaded 42 days ago.  That is also the same file I downloaded when I bought this game. If it was updated 11 days ago what happened that you have not had time to fix it on Itch.io for your customers? My hope is that you will imagine being in my position.  What if you bought a game with lots of problems and then saw there was an update 11 days ago? And even after responding to me the first time you did not upload the new update for us.  Most developers who are independent do small updates once a week or every 2 or 3 weeks then upload that update right away for the customers. Maybe you can do this also.  Thanks for reading.  

ok Wolf.  Thank You for responding.  I will keep the game and I have waited to see your response.  I will give you time to improve on the game ok. How can I stay connected with you to talk about the game.  I have some ideas. I test games for a living for my job you know that?  So I can give you some feedback.  I am sorry I was so angry before. I had a bad experience last year on Steam with a developer who took many people's money for a game that stopped working.  He then stopped responding and went away with all of our money we paid.  How do you email or contact people here on Itch.io. This is too much for everyone to read. Haha.

the game gives you no hope to keep playing.  you need to ease up on the rocks breaking everything and the over aggressive stuff that happens.  Its too fast you know.  The fact you give us next to nothing at first to make the weapons you need like asap to kill the overly hard frogs and break up the stones...is just insane.  Its a game killer.  Please fix the balance.

yea i hit the mobs like 100 times and they wont die.   please just do what normal devs do and have the gun auto fire or let us hold the button down to have it attack continuously.  The fact you have to hold it down to charge it or some dumb shit...then let it go over and over is not necessary.  You are trying to make a game that could be great....into something you envision that is actually terrible.  Trust me....your excitement over whatever mechanics you put into the game......is anti climactic.  Its fake....nothing here to be happy about.

Bug with game please fix. I downloaded the newest update and i chose archer and arrow.  I get this screen stuck.  Nothing moves.
